are ten inch pots ok to use when growing from seed to harvest? the reason i ask is my plants seem very small. i normally use 15 inch pots and they have never takin so long to develop. i recentley read you can go as small as 6 inch.

Hey just curious does anyone else use the "Turbo Tank" technique. Turbos I have found it to be so easy and efficient. Funny thing is, I have always used a water heater in the reservoir for past grows, but when it broke a couple of months back I didn't replace it. To my amazement however my babies have still blossomed. Well. What effect does keeping the water on the roots at a consistant temperature have? I can understand it is vital in the colder months (especially where I live as the water would freeze) but in summer do I really need to be wasting electricity keeping the water warm? Hmm Thanks

Hi people,look ive got sum outdoor potted bud goin think it shuld b ready in bout 3 to 4 weeks as light hours r getting longer i am keeping them to a 8hr light/16hrs dark cycle ,i was wondering if giving them arond a 40 hr dark spell a couple of times between now and wen i harvest (3 to 5 weeks maybe) wuld be benificial to final product....(havnt had alot of winter luck but doin well this time out ) thnx

Hey so I have some space to grow, Just want to know if anyone can tell me about how much space will a fully grown female take up, just so I can decide how many plants to grow ... Assuming im not using scrog, and Intend to yield an lb per plant... Please help me out... Like how many meters and how tall???

So incidentally I had to use a 1000WMH for 2 weeks before I could purchase a new 1000WHPS bulb and ballast to replace the old ones that busted. We all know MH creates lankier plants and HPS creates bulkier bushier plants. If your trying to get the most weight out of a grow, try throwing under a MH for two weeks during flowering. Youll get that extra 4 inches of stem growth (approx) which adds more weight to your final harvest. IT DOES stress the plants, adds an extra 30 days (approx) to your overall harvest. Whereas mine would have taken 60-70, they are now going to be somewhere in the range of 90-100days flower, but nice 16in (sorry from USA) colas on top Just a…

Hey guys I am very new to growing and I have the general idea of what cloning is, taking a part of your favorite plant and cloning it? that is about as much as i know.. I want to grow 2 plants in a grow closet I am yet to build but from the looks of things building a cloning thingy-maboby is the most complicated part of a grow set up and looks quite pricey also.. So is it really necessary to have one? whats are the real benefits? the only reason i am thinking of growing is for personal use because i am sick of paying for crap amounts of bud . Thanks for any help or advice in advance guys.

Hello all i am very new to the idea of growing my own product but i was looking at a few growing techniques, thinking up a few ideas and i thought seing my room is rather small it was either try and grow in a computer case which has a multitude of problems and often dissapointing yeilds or grow them horizontally under my bed. Length and width is no problem (1m x 3m) but the main doozie is height (30cm). Is this enough space to fit a light and a plant if it were growing sideways with the scrog or some other method? Im hopefull as this seems to be my only option and im sick of having to deal with twats in order to source, plus it would be a hell of alot of fun. I also have …

Mate of mine told me if you take your plants and place the roots on a mango (or something like that) in soil, the weed will have a mango flavour (or whatever fruit you use) He swears it's true, but for the life of me I can't imagine why that would work... anyone know anything?

I'm interested in some suggestions in regards to flushing my WR, I have had the nutes at 1.5 - 1.6 for nearly two weeks now and I am due for a res change. I've read a few differing opinions on flushing between res's and am not sure whether to flush at all, flush with a low EC level nute batch or flush with PH adjusted water. Also how long do I flush for? Should I just run the flush through for a couple of ten minute feeds or for a whole day? Jimbo

Desperate help needed. Plant is about eight weeks old, still in veg, she was topped at about three weeeks and growing well. When i tried to open her up to let the light get to the inside stalks i bloody split her wide open, in two. Now ive since wrapped and tied a bead of dry sillicone around the stalks my big question to you my fellow growers is will she live????
