Just wondering what kinds of fungus grow in your area. Where I am it's great mushroom weather at the moment so on the weekend I will go out and see what I can find. I know I can find gold tops, and death caps but I'm not sure what else. I need to brush up on my mushroom I.D. I hope I find a Fly Agaric! If you can, post up some pics of what you can find around your area. Good hunting , I will post some pics after the weekend

I'm thinking of growing some psilocybin mushrooms. Loved them when I was young. I know I could collect them with some research, but I enjoy DIY projects (e.g. growing cannabis, homebrew, etc). I've read up on PF Tek and will probably give that a go. Nice to learn growing mushies is heaps cheaper than indoor cannabis! Just a couple questions about getting the spores. Do we have a domestic Aussie source? Like Yantra is for seeds. If not, what is the import scenario? Like seeds? Not legal, but generally successfully delivered and occasionally lost to customs with no major legal hassles. I'm assuming spore prints are easier to import than syringes. Although syringes sound …

I collected a heap of cow manure a few months ago to use in my outdoor gardens and seems like I brought home some mushy spores with it. I dug a heap of poo through a garden bed and mulch it with sugar cane and old lemon grass stalks and over the last two and a half weeks I've been picking 2 or 3 shrooms a day. They look a bit different to the ones I use to pick in SA and have never seen them in QLD before but after thinking they were, the stems turning blue after being pinched out have me convinced. The smell has my stomach churning as 'it" is convinced too and a smell you never forget. Here's a few pics. There's a few that dried out as I didn't pick them till the arvo. I'…

Hey There guys, So I'm back from my adventures, somehow still alive, and Im keen to get back into growing some medicine. Unfortunatly, I don't have the means for another Canna grow atm, but that leaves me free to persue another project I've been wanting to do for a while... Mushies! So after a few months of slowly getting all the gear and know how required, I am finally ready to start. The method Im using for the grow is this one: http://www.shroomery.org/8410/Simple-Cubensis-Growing-Technique The only differences I have made are: 1. my pressure cooker has only 6 settings, the highest of which goes for half an hour, so I put all the jars through on that setting t…

I was tending my mums this morning and happened across these growing in on of the pots. They're all a bit starved for moisture as I like to let my mums dry out a little to try and keep gnats at a minimum/at bay. Any one know what they are and if they're worth recovering? Happy Gardening. Lenny.

The rain had fallen and the days grew very hot. I looked down at my feet, the warm brew of coffee still sliding down my throat. I saw a tiny mushroom yellow tight, a little bunch of them. Then as it occured to my stoned mined. I tossed the coffee grabbed a camera and made like heck to the nearest cow paddy, and this is what I saw
