I know wood ash is good as lime subsitute, but ive also been told its fairly high in potash aswell, i have a few big piles of ash lying around would it actually do anything as a soil improver if it was to work it into my patch?

Howdy All, greetings from WA Some great info and pics here. Thought I'd share a photo of 2 darlings I got going. About 6 weeks now. Since transplanting them 2 weeks ago into the bush they have doubled in size. Hope the photos loaded, not sure what I'm doing!! Cheers

I have a greenhouse at my disposal and am wondering if any of you guys have any experience with them. I have a few plants in there at the moment and the leaves grow really big and are a really dark healthy green and the plants seem to grow faster than outside, but stretch a little between lats. And also when the plants get big they have trouble standing up (im guessing this is because no wind) so I have to put them outside for a few days to strengthen them. Do any of you guys have any tips to get the most out of my greenhouse? Thanx.

If you were growing in the ground in a dug up plot, how many plants could you get in per m2, would you be best to leave as much space between plants as possible?

i am not having much luck this year, first of all my plants were taken by the police, 2nd of all i have had non stop rain for a week and then after checking my plants this morning, i had discovered that my plants had been knocked over by a fucking kangaroo, i have my plants in pots with some wire mesh around them to protect them from being eaten, but now a kangaroo has run into my wire mesh and sent my plants flying, i lost 12 plants this morning. oh well at least all of them were not destroyed. Time to start that patch again. Ive never had this many set backs before but ill just keep motoring along and ill get there eventually

Hello everyone, I have just cut about 20 clones that I intend to put outdoors, the problem is that when I did this last year all the clones immediately started to flower even though it was the middle of december and we still had long summer days and I ended up with a lot of small plants not the 5 foot monsters that I was hoping for This year I plant to veg the clones for a few weeks under a 600w until they are about two feet tall and then put them outside, I was curious to see if there was any tricks to stop these plants flowering, ideally I would like to veg them up inside and then put them outside with the plan that they hopefully grow another couple of feet before…
