Does anyone have experience with a NZ made device called Hypergrow? Its basically a phototron as far as I can tell..it has 4x34w curvalume fluoro's (big U-shaped ones) and either a philips sl 18 prismatic (veg) or sylvania electronic lynx bulb (flower) -both fluoro's-eddison screw. Consists of a base with wheels, a top with light fittings and ballast, a heat pad, a raised tray within a tray (ie:pot with res) and all four sides are white painted sheet metal that slides down aluminium angle brackets (This gives it stability-it's a basic frame otherwise) I've used it a few years and need some replacement parts--found some places that sell them too-- just wondering if anyone …

i just ordered a 250 w HID sodium kit... dont know how to use it... as in how high 4m the plants should it b? also what area can it work with?? if i use both the hid an some 2700k cfl's doring flowering will it increase my harvest?? or should i just gt another 250w kit??? im growing 5 plants in a 4ft by 2ft area....

I have been keeping my eye on one infected plant and its powdery mildew problem (should have just cut it early). I trimmed off the affected areas and sprayed with Serenade a week and a half ago and have been monitoring all the other plants. There was just a bit on a few leaves but I was planning on harvesting in a couple days, so I figured it would be easy to take care of. The problem is that just today, the stuff has popped up on all my other plants, and in a bad way! There isn't much on the fan leaves, but there are patches in the buds themselves. Hey guys, lightning and I are thinking about building a Hempcrete house and looking at the possability of growing what we need to get the fibre required to do so. Has anyone applied for a licence to grow the commercial stuff, and what do they require when you apply? lightning worked out we need something like 2ha, we are trying to work out if growing is going to be more expensive than simply purchasing the bails from growers as we would require around 500 (I think) bales to build the basic house to begin with. Hi everyone, I am wanting to grow something different that is not so common in Australia and I am wanting to try 2 or 3 different strains. Where I am from people don't really know much about different strains so they just take whatever is around judging it by how it looks and most people that grow it don't even know exactly what strain they are growing. I have looked at many strains but there is just too many options and I cant choose so I thought I would ask for your suggestions. Hi peoples. Just wondering how old plants usually need to be before i can tell its sex? Also my plant seems very short , yet stocky and compact. Its 11 days old. Unknown strain. It looks very healthy with moderately fat leaves. System is aeroponics and drippers. 1x400w hps is 30cm away. Im a newbie and just trying to get a scope on a plants average size at this age in optimum conditions. Thanks any help would be appreciated.

hay everyone what is a pgr? what dose it do? and what is the diff between a pgr and p/k? seams like i have a lot left to learn never realy used hydro nutes up untill about a year ago always just chook shit and pot ash and always outside in prepared plots and is there somewhere on this site where i can find out what names are given to different grow set ups as i dont know what dwc and other abeverations stand for? thanks stinky

So I am going to order some new genetics over the internet, probably from greenhouse seeds and I have a couple of questions if any of you have had experience with this. What I'm wondering is should I use my real name for postage address?? If the beans arrive in a regular envelope then an alias will be fine, but I am concerned that they will come in a box/package that I will need to provide photo ID to pick up from the PO. Or If they send TNT do I just need to sign? What is the safest way to get beans in the post?

hi guys its my first grow my start date was 24th dec using the hydrophonics stystem with water im now into bloom when would u suggest i add the buddy food which has to be added weekly for 4 weeks until my final flush the thing is the guy who told me how to set up etc told me to turn from growth to flower after just like 2 and half weeks now after realising ive lost importsant growth time im now real not sure on taking any more advice from him he says i have 6 weeks left on my crop how long would you carry on in bloom until you put them on there final flush ? he says my end date is in 6 weeks time then do i flush them or is 6 weeks including my flush ....im confused hes to…

gday everybody i have a plant that is in its third week of flower and is in a 40l pot potting mix is searless preamium potting mix with nothing added plant has been in this mix for about six weeks and is now starting to look like it needs a little bit of nitigen as a few of the lower leaves are yellowing off and dieing(about 2 or 3 every 2 days) and is spreading fairly quickly it has never been fed any nutes for veg since it has been in the pot and has been foilor fed flowering nutes once and had a dose of p/k since it has been flowering was trying to use all N in the potting mix befor i had to add some but i was hopeing i wouldnt have to what do you guys think should…

This is my first post on this site and I just want to start out by saying I am proud to be a member of this greatly established community and hope I can learn and share as much information as possible with yall. so i guess this may sound quite silly, but id like some feedback on exactly HOW silly a friend and i want to get seeds, we are both in situations where we dont want to have it sent to our addresses and the idea of throwing a 'false' letterbox up on a nearby street has come up, seems likely a good idea, but does this sound preposterous to anyone here ? are we breaking some full on laws that anyone knows of ? is it worse to put up a fake letterbox, than to receive seeds in the first place ? has anyone tried this before ? we are thinking a unit complex or something similar want to avoid, po-boxes, having it mailed directly to us and dont know anyone else who we could …
