Can anyone tell me how to set seconds on a Nakajima Power ET-1 digital timer? I want to use it to auto water my plants while i'm away and i need it to run for under a minute. One button says week/sec on it but i cant work out how to get it to set seconds. Cheers

I have 2 * 25cm exhaust fans in my Cupboard. Since cutting the holes massive amounts to light pour out the back. So i tried nailing some cotton sheets over the holes, but it cuts to much of my air flow down. My Question, What will stop light but allow air flow ? I'm sure im not the only person to have this problem as most setups involve both light and ventilation holes.

Hi guys...Just bought an ec meter, and have some probs reading it..the meter that i bought reads up to 9999µS... this is the link on what i bought.. http://www.tdsmeter.com/products/ec3.html anyways, some people are saying that i should water them with .4ec of nutrients at 2 weeks, the question is how do i read this meter then? thanks in advance..

Hello everyone. I have grown 2 plants, both were bagseed from nice bud which wasnt what i would call seedy gear. Anyways had them on flower cycle 12/12 for about a week now and have noticed that one has started developing what i think are male flowers but as i am a first time grower i obviously want to seek some advice before i do something drastic.. First pic is from afar of said balls (which are occuring all over the place) 2nd of the same set except i have removed a leaf for the photo, and for the third i removed the leaf and the long spikey leaf (that can be seen in the 2nd pic) growing from under the questionable balls. I notice a lot of trouble from folks on this topic , particularly in australia, but there is a few guidelines you can follow. I have done this many times , and here is the criteria i use. firstly i will think carefully about what situation my grow will be , indoor , outdoor , a wet or dry climate , tropical , temperate etc . the next step is to do some research on what strains will suit my grow situation , most likely reading breeder or seed seller information to get a basic idea, thirdly dont just assume what the seller of the seed says about its potential ,, do more research , read a few grow reports and smoke reports from folks that have tried the strain you are …

so I have a bagseed that most recognise as 'sativa dominant' (the shrubbery), http://cannabis.community.forums.ozstoners...showtopic=24241 Several weeks ago I put some cuttings from her under lights, along with cuttings I expect are less sativa, more indica, 'nother plant in the rose bed, also bagseed. Is this bud ready yet? It has maybe a few white pistils maybe 5% or less. I have a few glands explode already, so I think it is good to go. I do not have a loop, so I am going by the pistils. It is on week 10 and this is the first bud that looks ready. This is some really cheap bag seed, probably the cheapest you could buy, It turned out surprisingly good growing hydro though, It is definitely an outside plant. If someone could help because I want to harvest this bud if its ready to give light to others below it. Thanks

Was wondering how much of a difference you get from 1000w on 6 or 8 plants to 2000w ( 2x 1000w) on 6 to 8 plants? Double the yield? a little under double? 1 and a half? Not sure if ill go 2k or 1k for my next grow but wondering what advantages it would yield. Well didn't I have a wonderful day today. My plants are in there 6th week of flowering and I noticed A bud that had a seed in it. Grr I scaned all my plants with a fine tooth combe and found ONE extremly small pollen sack. opened.... Hidden right under a bud. Well the good news is it was on a very low bud un my plants and none of the cola's got any pollen. but it is still very frusterating. This just goes to show that you have to inspect your plants very very thoughly when growing F1 seeds. anyways just thought i would share my anger. Post a new topic in Miscellaneous
