Hey guys is it possible to flower outdoors during spring, or are the days starting to get too long? I dont want to have to wait and have plants outdoors til april/may next year. Does anyone have any ideas on how i can force outdoor flowering late in spring? ie: moving plants to complete darkness early in the afternoon? Sorry if these are silly questions, but I have no experience with plants outdoors. Any help or ideas would be welcomed Thanks in advance!!!

hi guys i just have a quick question about ec and ph meters i notices to buy these in shops is roughly about $100- $160 after a quick search on ebay i found you can get digital ph meters for 40- 80 dollars has anyone bought one of these meters and if so, are the cheap ones good enough quailty to last and do the job? cheers guys for any help

hey guys just a quick question, i germinated 5 seeds 6 weeks ago im left now with three plants two pumping along great the other doesnt know what ways up its got no symetry uneven keeps spitting out the odd seed leaf looking tips and its growing sideways, really dark green and a lot slower growing! the only reason ive kept it is there is plenty off room im after a mother plant so i dont think i want clones of this inbred looking excuse of a plant . all the seeds were from the same pack (seedbank seeds) has anyone had this or know whats going on? cheers budgie

I'm going to be using compact fluorescent lights for the entire thing. Yes.. I know.. I know... I SHOULD get a HPS light so i can penetrate the bud and blah. It's gonna be light an airy yehh. okay, also, now don't shoot me... I'm not gonna be really having any ventilation either.. The most I could do is put a fan inside of it and leave afew openings to let air pass through. Thing is I have never grown before (and only ever smoked once) and I am on an extremely tight budget. Hey guys, i was looking this up and was wondering if there are any noticeable differences between indica and sativa strains when it comes to early growth? im growing bagseed and the plants are a month old, grown from seeds. im wanting to know if they are either indica or sativa or hybrid, etc, but im not sure what to look for. Are there characteristics showing during early growth that can help us tell them apart? p.s. i know the differences between them when theyre older, taller, thinner, branchier plants and leaves for sativa, etc.

Hi, So I recently purchased a large Nylex container from Bunnings as a nutrient tank. I got it home and realised that it says on the inside "recycled plastic do not use in food handling." I'm guessing I need to return it? Some advice would be great. A link to a suitable replacement or some pointers to one would be awesome, too, if necessary. I'm having a hard time finding suitable things that aren't stupidly overpriced. Bunnings had some food storage containers that were a suitable size and significantly cheaper, but they were clear. Maybe I'm just blind.

right people i need a question asking becouse i am heading towards my 1st harvest but my plant is small and i dont wanna harvest it this time around so i am wondering. if i dont bud this time round and leave the buds on will i be able to bud them when they get bigger or is it a one time only ? or can i bud it this time round and bud it next time round if i just cut the bud branches off ??? pleaseeee help people and thanx ~bandit~

Hey guys, firstoff sorry for perhaps an unclear title, i was unsure of the exact terms for my question; i am looking into buying some seeds from a seedbank (possibly from holland?), and assuming mine arrive and everything looks ok from a glance - when do i have to start using the seeds to get them to germinate (i.e - is there a point that if i do not do anything to the seeds they still die eventually?) thanks in advance

Just curious as to what type of water people have and use. As I am getting back into a grow cycle after moving I just checked my tap and rain water: Tap water PH=9, EC=0.8 Rain Water PH=7, EC=0 Luckily I have a 20,000 litre rain water tank which should take care of watering nicely. what's everyone one else got.

Hey smokers, I'm about to embark on my first outdoor grow - in September (I'm in Sydney). All the grow diaries that I've seen and most info I've read show growers getting their girls to harvest point and then ripping them out of the ground - Now it's not like I'm an extreme hippie who is shedding a tear for all the beautiful plants who only get through one season before they are uprooted, but is there any benefit in killing the plant at this point? Hello I am new to the forum and country. I know a thing or two about "broccoli" but have NO IDEA what the laws are about growing 1 plant for personal use. I know the laws of the USA but not Oztown. I am curious of the laws in South Australia. I think you are aloud to use for personal use at home but thats all I know. And I dont know even if thats correct. So please someone out there clue me in. Ok i was thinking is it illegal to buy or sell MALE cannabis pollen since it contains no thc or cbd and if it wasn't Where the fuck can i buy it. I seem to have trouble getting a male doesnt seem to matter what seeds i use i never get males. I am hoping that i get a male this round but in the mean time. any thoughts?
