So you got some seeds/seedlings and you wanna give them the best start in life? Ok i am a real newbie when it comes to growing cannabis or indeed growing anything for that matter. I found some seeds in my cupboard presumably left over from my sisters previous attempts in growing (last summer and summer before) so reasonably old. I was unsure if they would work so decided to try anyway. I put them into a glass half full of water and let them float around. Its now up to day three and only one has sprouted. There were two small seeds and one bigger seed, only the bigger one has cracked. How long does it usually take for them to start to crack? Are the other two not going to sprout at all if they havnt cracked by now (3days)?

my grow room is 1m(w) x 1m (d) x 1.6M(h) i have a wilma 4pot flood and drain a rvk 150mm inline fan with carbon filter and a 600w hps in a coolshade but its still goes up to 35degrees celcius in here any useful hints

I have read two different ways of determining nutrient strength using a Truncheon or any meter and I want to know which one is correct. Most nutrient labels say that the nutrient strength shown is in addition to the water ppm. In other words, my water is 210 ppm if I want a ppm of 1200, do I mix it to that and add to the water. That would give me 1410 ppm or do I mix nutes to 1000, that would give me 1210 ppm. I read an article that said to deduct 50% of the water reading from the total ppm reading. In other words, if I mixed to 1200 and deducted 50% water reading, I would have 1095 ppm. I find this confusing as I am using low strength nutes (1/4 strength) on my 50…

Hello everyone ....I am just about to harvest two big sativas that I have had in my grow room for the last 16 weeks, the problem is that I want to take the buds off the plant and try to reveg it and stick it outside for this years outdoor season.....the genetics are fantastic and I want to save this strain Is this possible????.....how much should I trim off the plant?....should I leave some of the smaller fluffier buds on the plant??? any help would be much appreciated

it gets a bit dry where i am sometimes the humidity has been getting as low as 28% though sits at about 48% most of the day/night my plants look a little dry when the humidity drops do you guys spray or do somethimg else? thanks for any help

Hi all. This is my first attempt at a grow. I just dropped a seed into a pot that my little xmas tree came in and it's sprouted. I had it sitting on the balcony (i live in an apartment in the city) but it didn't get sun consistently. it's now sitting in my cupboard with a small 16 watt flouro providing light set on timer with 16 hrs on 8 off. Does this sound like it may work? I've also bought some yates multi nutrient plant food which i haven't added yet. i was going to leave it a couple of weeks before adding a very diluted mix. once again, will this work or am i on the wrong track? any help will be appreciated. cheers.

Hi guys i got these girls theyre on 3rd week of flower theyre in coco, theyre starting to look a bit yellow do they look ok?? Is there anything i should give them?? theyve been having flowering nutes and i wasnt sure if i should give them some veg nutes just to get some colour back in the leaves, do you think i should flush them or something or do they look normal. Ok iv searched and havnt been able to find anything about growing seasons for outdoor cultivation, probably cause im a bit of a newbie and dont know where to look. I from Sydney, NSW and was just wondering if anyone could help me out on the seasons that are best for growing. When should I start germanating the seed and planting them outside? Peace.

After 4 week i,ve realized my order from planet skunk isnt coming. There response is there is nothing they can do about it.... $130 gone.... My other order to HGS was posted with someone elses order( 2 orders and payments with the instructions) in the same express post envelope, within 7 days they received there seeds and i have been told by them that there was only one order in the envelope so they only sent out one order. Bullshit! $60US gone.... ordered from the 2 companies expecting to get 1 of them. Do you think i can contact consumer affairs and put my complaints to them.... goodluck!

Hey Guys, I have recently moved to a country with a tropical climate and i am considering starting to grow outdoors. Here the temperature is fairly consistent throughout the year at 25-35 degrees Celsius and quite Humid. Does anyone here have experience with growing in the tropics? Which strains grow well in tropical climates? I've never grown before so any advice at all would be appreciated, if there's anything i'd have to look out for please let me know. Thanks in advance

Hey guys is it possible to flower outdoors during spring, or are the days starting to get too long? I dont want to have to wait and have plants outdoors til april/may next year. Does anyone have any ideas on how i can force outdoor flowering late in spring? ie: moving plants to complete darkness early in the afternoon? Sorry if these are silly questions, but I have no experience with plants outdoors. Any help or ideas would be welcomed Thanks in advance!!!
