Hi Canna Nationals I'm a new member and this is post #1. I've been lurking in this excellent forum for the past couple of weeks, absorbing knowledge to help with my first grow. After a fair bit of research here and on other boards, I'm taking a micro, indoor, stealth, cfl, soilless-mix with nutes approach. I hope to journal my progress on this site. Now I'm about to start purchasing, I have a question: when you're in a garden or hydroponics supplies store, how honest with the staff are you? Do you flat-put pretend to be growing tomatoes, or is it a <wink> tomatoes affair? I may need to get some advice from the suppliers, but I don't want to be thrown out of the …

hey peeps, i decided a couple of months ago to give a couple of plants a crack outside in winter ( i know probably not the best idea, but hey anything is better than nothing), the plants have now gone into flower as daylight hours are less than 12 hours a day, my question is, as daylight hours start to increase, and once the daylight hours are exceeding say 14 hours a day will my plant revert back into vegatative stage, or will it keep flowering.

Hi dudes and dudettes, Ive finally got a bagseed growing away in my new grow cabinet. Until recently I was concerned about the possibility of high humidity in my grow cabinet but with the oscillating fan keeping everything moving and the exhaust fan working nicely, my hygrometer always say 20% now which i take to be its lowest level of display of humidity. So I thought I would ask, does low humidity pose any potential problems? cheers Morphine

Hi, this is my first post. I'm going to start growing weed soon, but I don't know anything about growing any kind of plant. I'm going to grow indoors and I want to know if the time of the year affects the weed plant when grown indoors. If it does, how does it affect the plant? Will it produce a higher yield and/or potency if it is grown at the right time? Or will my plant just not grow at all if I don't grow it at the right time?

Ive tried Dicky smith , Jaycar, Aussie jewellery suppliers , Can ya help a bloke out ! 2-3 weeks until harvest.. looks like Ebay is the Only option i gotta go to China just to get a LOUPE ? Hey guys I have 5 seedlings down in rockwool and 2 are showing yellow leaves. They are about 10 days old. On one of them 2 of the 4 leaves are entirely yellow and on the other just the tip is yellow. I have been spraying them with rhyzosomethingarather from canna at half strength 0.5ml /250ml. My temperatures range from 22 to 32. They are still in a propagation trays with the lid on them as well to keep up the humidity (Around 85%). When is a good time to get them out of their humid home and into the space? Humidity in the space is around 50 - 70%

Been reading about auto flowering strains like AK47, Lowrider etc. Pretty fascinated with the concept of discreet plants you can place anywhere & harvest up to three times an ouotdoor growing season. Any feedback on strains, reliable seed companies & techniques would be appreciated. Cheers

I got a parcel the other week that contained 2 x freshly rooted clones. I potted them up with a 50/50 coco and perlite mix. The pots are quite large and can easily hold 5L of nutrient solution before any will drip from the bottom of the pots. This is a very simple setup that I water as needed every couple of days by hand. I have them both under a 150w MH 24/0. The Sensi Star is directly under the light and the Salvia is off to the side. After the plants have established themselves a bit more, I will turn on the other light and start taking clones as they grow. From here the new clones will go straight into the main grow room. Easy-peasy.

I just found 2 out of my 4 plants are either male or hermi, lots of balls and only 8 days into flowering. Thinking about separating them and harvesting them for seeds ( think it will be great to keep for future either for me, or strain trade with others who have other strains i want to try ) Because there White widow and Great white shark. How long until i have to separate before i risk contaminating what im hoping are my 2 ladies.

The other day I was having some problems since recently PH down has been released with a child safety lock but to incorporate this requirement, the bottles no longer have the "dripper" on the top.. I have been told some people are now just drilling in the lid, but I tried adding the "dripping" lid from an older bottle of PH down. When I was filling my tank solution, the lid came off, and the solution poured straight into the tank for a second or two.. I didn't think it was that much, I shook the tank for 2-3 minutes, and then checked the PH and the meter said it was fine. Hey all This is my first post, I have been reading every post I could find about getting some seeds of my own, the whole import thing still after reading many posts sounds risky. We all know IF the pigs wanted to bust u for barley anything at all they can and will if they are asshole enough.
