Bit confused as the other 2 plants are both fems and are budding as well. Has anyone experianced this before? If you need to see pics there are some in my grow diary altho I have not taken exclusive pics of this issue yet. https://cannabis.community.forums.ozstoners...showtopic=28854

Not sure if this is in the right place but here goes, Ive got a couple of questions concerning THC to CBD ratio. I understand CBD is an antiphsycotic and has many other ways of interacting with THC. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cannabidiol Different strains of weed i come across the high can slightly vary, for example body stoned or head high etc, wich leads to my first question, Does the THC to CBD ratio affect the high, and how so? Would weed with a higher CBD content be healthier, is there anyway at looking at the bud and being able to get a rough idea on the THC CBD ratio and how would you grow/cultivate plants to produce the desired ratio?

I am thinking of starting my flowering in 7days time. i have read that the plants will grow significally larger during this period "But i don't know how large, large is"..thats why i am thinking of starting sooner than later. With the 2 pix i have supplied, do people think these guys are ready to flower up? The lights can still be raised another 40 plus cm. Will the plants fill out to this area during the whole process? As i have read that you can start flowering once plants have reached 20cm...Ok some of them aren't but bad luck..Or should i let them grow awhile longer? Also, the room will probably get to as low as 19degrees once the lights are turned off in th…

I have an indoor grow with height space of 1400mm. Currently I have 6 plants all around 200mm. I know the idea behind waiting for the alternating nodes in regards to the plant becoming sexually mature. However I don't really want them to grow beyond 900-1000mm during flower, due to my height restrictions. I grow under a 400w HPS bulb. Here is a pic of my plants now at around 200mm they have 4/5 nodes. I was thinking wait till either 300mm or 450mm. What do you guys reckon? It is my first time growing and have read a few conflicting posts on the growth of the plants once the light cycle is changed. I am hoping to get atleast 2 females out of these would be nice.

hi all!! im just wondering if its ok to trim the root system that is present as its getting to the point where it may block the return outlet!! there is quite a lot, there is probably about an inch thick cluster that covers the entire base of the catch pot! can i trim all of that and just leave the hanging roots?? any info would be greatly appreciated! its just a standard re-circulating system.

I am coping wifts of skunk coming from out the front of my house. Its very distictively coming from my drive way and the neighbours front yard that has various different natives. Can smell it every time I walk past there and it is doing my narna in! My room runs 2 carbon filters - 1 smaller 1 attached to a 250 centrifgal suspended from the ceiling in the middle of the room and not connected to any outlet (acts as a scrubber when the main fan is not on), this runs 24/7. I also run a can fan attached to quite a monster of a filter for the exhaust which cycles every 15 mins of the end of the hour. My room is completely sealed and also has another fan attached to the inlet du…

Hi all, I've been doing a lot of reading lately on soil mixes and there is a great deal of information, but not so much on specifics. everyone says use this and that but never really specifies how much. Im going to be doing a guerilla grow that needs to be as self sustaining as possible due to it being a long distance from where i live. The soil around is very clay based and in other words not great. So in other words i need a very good water retentive soil. I plan on obviously using water crystals as one way of aiding but I need multiple ways. If anyone has soil recipe, ideas, thoughts, tips in would be greately apreciated. I read that possibly mixing clay in with the so…

Hi Canna Nationals I'm a new member and this is post #1. I've been lurking in this excellent forum for the past couple of weeks, absorbing knowledge to help with my first grow. After a fair bit of research here and on other boards, I'm taking a micro, indoor, stealth, cfl, soilless-mix with nutes approach. I hope to journal my progress on this site. Now I'm about to start purchasing, I have a question: when you're in a garden or hydroponics supplies store, how honest with the staff are you? Do you flat-put pretend to be growing tomatoes, or is it a <wink> tomatoes affair? I may need to get some advice from the suppliers, but I don't want to be thrown out of the …
