Hey crew So I got some sweet life cycle assessment software for uni and instead of studying for my LCA exam I used the software to do a crude LCA of the environmental impacts of growing indoors. The result was quite shocking The LCA was based on the following: 400 Watts of HID lighting 100 Watts of peripherals (centrifugal fan, PC fan for air circulation, air pump and water pump) 18/6 for 4 weeks 12/12 for 8 weeks Standard electricity (ie no green power or solar PV) 13 ounce yield. The outcome of it was, that to produce 13 ounces would generate approximately 725 kilograms of CO2 equivalent, or 56kg per ounce That is a huge amount considering that it does no…

Hello, i am from europe and want to spend a few mounth in Oz. I am only comman to grow in bad climate, like tassi (rain, cold) so I have a few questions. I prefer the Nimbin area, Cairns or Exmouth area. What you think about this idea? 1.Which area is the best for growing in Oz? Okay so been looking at all the different types of oder control Carbon filters: do I need to have it vented to outside or the roof space? would it be bad breathing in the carbon or ozone the filters emit? ozone: are there any bad human side effects of using? hay recantly iv been noticing that some leave are turning brown on spots iv check all over for bugs even tho i dont think thats the case i was thinking thy where more burns from ph mabye being a little to high as it has started from the bottom of the plant my plants are 2 weeks in to flower with 7 weeks to go i hav my p.h at 6.5 for veg and and in flower 5-5.5 i just wanted to comferm if it is the ph lvls and wiether 5.5 is good 4 the flowering stage iv lowered it scince iv noticed the burning just to be sure iv posted some photos juts to be sure.

bought 5 fem blueberry from planet skunk arrived monday & none cracked never tried blueberry before. The seeds are very tiny ,would that be right? hope this wont be ongoing as it will be costly on a pension.

Greetings fellow 420'ians..I have reciently experimented with some new seeds and new red/blue led grow light ! So far so good, after only three days they have sprouted but my problem is that apart from the small leaf at the top the stem appears to be huge almost 2" then no other leaves. I realize it's only early days yet but have been told that this sometimes means that they are searching for more light. Is this because of the L.E.D's or as I have started them from seed just need to be a little more patient ? If it is the lack of light, I have lowered the light pad but is there anything I should do at this stage to help with the growth ? PS The seeds are from a reliable s…

I bought the pvc growtent about 15months ago and it my seedlings were stuffed after a while,so i stoped growing in it.Seems like a waste to pay that much for something just to throw it out,so im wondering if there might be anything i could do to it to make it worth growing with. I thought mabee i could take the tent off the frame and go buy some mdf board or something for the sides,top and bottom and also buying some thin foam or something mabee even thin plywood for the door flaps and just stick them on there with glue. I could screw the mdf board directly to theframe and use silican to smooth over any gaps.After all of that i would be putting the tent back on over t…
