General Cultivation Q&A

Hi all, I know that I'm asking a lot of Questions lately but I am realizing all the things I didn't notice in research time! So anyway...what are the runoff vales of the nutrient used for and what should they be? I'm using Canna Aqua vege at 20mls/ltr PH is 5.4 and the EC is 1.6. Also what signs do I look for that the ferts are too strong or weak? The plants are already going well and seem to be responding to the new nutes well anyway... Thanks Jimbo

Hey im intrested in getting a plant growing insde away frow the frost. I want a cheap set up and something easy to use also do i need fans and all that i just want a small grow and nothing to complicated as i would prolly fuck shit up to much . cheers

Just setting up a wardrobe for the first time, its a fairly solid one 180h x 90w x 50deep with white laminate on the inside. I will be picking up some lights tomorrw, probably 600wHPS, and basically hanging it from the top of the wardrobe. Not using Hyrdo, just soil, and starting off with clones that have recently grown some root system. These clones are said to be very good, so i'm not too keen on killing them with my lack of growing knowledge, so I thought best to throw over to you guys for some advice? Do I need a fan for circulation, does this setup sound ok, and also what sort of soil mix do you recommend? Cheers

What, if any, difference is there between Bio Bugs and Canna-Zym apart from one being organic? Also what is the ideal level to start the application of Canna Aqua vege nutes? Jimbo

Hi guys, Havent been on here for quite sometime but i was wanting to ask anyone if they know where to get the controller buckets for ebb n Grow or also known as multiflow. hey guys i just thought id ask a quick question about a nutrient my mate picked up for me the other day. its a South Australian nutrient manufactorer by the name of Indica Supreme Nutrients (ISN Supreme). has anybody used (or even heard) of them? i reckon its a good idea to support local businesses anyway- so im giving it a shot at the moment... but i thought id drop a line to get some feedback on it anyway. cheers.

Hi guys ,sorry about all the questions but its my first grow,where do the first pistils or balls grow at on the plant.also once they show there sex how long before the buds start to grow?Last ques.has anyone bought one of those carbon air scrubbers on ebay,the black tubular ones,if so how does it work?Heres some more pics,let me no if there male or female please .thanks guys

Anyone tried these out yet? I noticed them in a catalogue of my fave aquarium shop. never seen them before tonight, they look the go maybe. My Webpage I reckon I'll give it a go if no-one can say they've had a bad expereince with them. cheers rob
