ok im looking at 2 potting mixes. has any one used one of these as i am thinking of investing in one but not sure that is it up to what is says that it ????????????? thinking of using it in a closet space of .5m x .5m and 2m high. i am currently using a 400 watt bulb but am finding a bit difficult obtaining the optimum temp with what i am using the temp is 32 but other than leave the door wide open cant keep it down more than that idealy i would like to up the watts but untill i sort out the temp more cant??????????????????????????? any ideas?????

Ok first of all im thinking of doing a 6-8 plant grow, 400w mh veg 600w hps flower, Thinking of Eb and Flow ( Flood and Drain ) in a tub with the hydroton clay balls, Proberly going to be growing two strains Red Diesel and some other Sativa uplifting strain Questions : 1. First of all any recomendations to hydroponics sites / stores for a possible setup as described above, Im currently Located in Brisbane 2. I have let my plants grow to big for my cab again ( its a shitty problem to have ) i cant move my light up anymore, and because of the small space im going to Scrog it with a net, but seeing as there to big instead of scrapping them, cloning and starting from square one again ( like i did before ) i am going to top them so they have two main tops so they are easyer to train through the net. They are about 4 days into flower, was wondering because i still have 8 - 10 weeks left if i should top them and let them go or top them and put them back into veg for a little while then back into flower. Not looking for massive plants so i think scroging them will produce the best ye…

Could any one give me a bit of advise, took a few clones did everything according to the instructions. they looked ok for a few days and now i have noticed that some of the stems on a couple have split. is it too late for these ones. kinda think that i could have been a bit happy with the misting!!!??? but i have tried to dry the rockwool out dont know what else to do ??????????

Hey all, I vaguely recall reading that foliar feeding of fertilisers needs to be weaker than if watered into the root zone. Does anyone know if this is true? If so, how much weaker??

Hey guys im just preparing myself for summer. Im going to run 4 plants this year. Four Feminized Dutch passion mazar. I went out and got 4 x 100L big grow bags that the nuserys use... Im prepared to finish the plants in these... Ive got 4 x 100L Canna Coco mix and 1 x 100L perlite bag to be spread between the 4 plant mixtures.. Does this sound like a good medium??? Ill be feeding them canna A+B through veg then pk 13/14 in the end.... This will be my second grow and hope they turn out to be monsters so it can last me the whole of the following year!

After a fair bit of research here and on other boards, I'm taking a micro, indoor, stealth, cfl, soilless-mix with nutes approach. I hope to journal my progress on this site. Now I'm about to start purchasing, I have a question: when you're in a garden or hydroponics supplies store, how honest with the staff are you? hey peeps, i decided a couple of months ago to give a couple of plants a crack outside in winter ( i know probably not the best idea, but hey anything is better than nothing), the plants have now gone into flower as daylight hours are less than 12 hours a day, my question is, as daylight hours start to increase, and once the daylight hours are exceeding say 14 hours a day will my plant revert back into vegatative stage, or will it keep flowering.

Hi all I'd appreciate any thoughts. Basically my question is does adding h2o2 to nutes do anything nasty? Potted up before flower, added nutes per schedule, burned the plants. In hindsight this is obviously because the new soil and added nutes were too hot a mix. Caught it in time, flushed and dialled the nutes right back in a immediate after-flush feed. The girls are recovering nicely, albeit with a few war wounds. However as they are newly repotted, dampness persists at the bottom of the pot where the roots haven't penetrated yet long after the upper soil containing roots is dry. So I need to water, but am worried about the wet feet. I was wondering if adding a s…

I hope this is the right place for this question, we'll find out soon enough. I need to force one of my plants to hermi....long story short back in 08 i grew some special skunk, it turned out fkn great and was also hermi....so i got a bag full of feminized special skunk seeds....what a treat. Now the bag is running low, and i need a top up....sooo....how the hell do u force a plant to hermi ? I'm aware that stress contributes...as does over pruning and "run-dry" in a dwc system (which is what i run, dwc)

My little ladies are about 2 weeks old now and I germinated them in rockwool cubes. I recently transported the cubes to some small pots (soil). On checking them yesterday i notices with one of the plants that the main tap root was coming out of the bottom of the pot. Should i move it to a bigger pot already? I fear that if they get any longer I am likely to damage it when putting it into a larger pot later on. The plants themselves only have about 2 sets of leaves. cheers in advance
