Recently while in the bunnings garden section i noticed bunnings have there own range of hydro nutes out now. Root stimulants,zyms etc and obviously much cheaper than at the local shop. Over to you guys???? BH

Hi all, I've been doing a lot of reading lately on soil mixes and there is a great deal of information, but not so much on specifics. everyone says use this and that but never really specifies how much. Im going to be doing a guerilla grow that needs to be as self sustaining as possible due to it being a long distance from where i live. The soil around is very clay based and in other words not great. So in other words i need a very good water retentive soil. I plan on obviously using water crystals as one way of aiding but I need multiple ways. If anyone has soil recipe, ideas, thoughts, tips in would be greately apreciated. I have been trying to research just how much Carbon Dioxide i need to administer to a grow closet. I currently use a Soda Stream C02 system that i hook up to a plastic tub to euthanise all the snakefood quickly & humanely. As i can buy all the gas cartridges from Wooolies & they work out very cheap, I was thinking of using this same setup to enrich the air in the closet. Does anyone use this type of setup? Or could you point me in the right direction of tables that i can follow.. Many thanks!

has any one used one of these as i am thinking of investing in one but not sure that is it up to what is says that it ????????????? thinking of using it in a closet space of .5m x .5m and 2m high. i am currently using a 400 watt bulb but am finding a bit difficult obtaining the optimum temp with what i am using the temp is 32 but other than leave the door wide open cant keep it down more than that idealy i would like to up the watts but untill i sort out the temp more cant??????????????????????????? any ideas?????

Ok first of all im thinking of doing a 6-8 plant grow, 400w mh veg 600w hps flower, Thinking of Eb and Flow ( Flood and Drain ) in a tub with the hydroton clay balls, Proberly going to be growing two strains Red Diesel and some other Sativa uplifting strain Questions : 1. I have let my plants grow to big for my cab again ( its a shitty problem to have ) i cant move my light up anymore, and because of the small space im going to Scrog it with a net, but seeing as there to big instead of scrapping them, cloning and starting from square one again ( like i did before ) i am going to top them so they have two main tops so they are easyer to train through the net. They are about 4 days into flower, was wondering because i still have 8 - 10 weeks left if i should top them and let them go or top them and put them back into veg for a little while then back into flower. Not looking for massive plants so i think scroging them will produce the best ye…

Could any one give me a bit of advise, took a few clones did everything according to the instructions. they looked ok for a few days and now i have noticed that some of the stems on a couple have split. is it too late for these ones. kinda think that i could have been a bit happy with the misting!!!??? but i have tried to dry the rockwool out dont know what else to do ??????????
