hi guys can anyone give me some advise on trimming my plant. i am 3 weeks vegging and 1 week in to flowering. what leaves do i cut of and does it do any harm to the plant. i know i have to thin it for the light to get to the bottom but dont know if im taking branches of that will be producing bud. also is it right that when you start the 12/12 cycle the plants will double or even trble in size ? any help would be good. thanks.

Hi All, I plan on setting up my grow room again pretty soon. I am just a bit concerned about the new laws that are about to come into place in WA. I am hoping you can give me some tips and tricks to help reduce the risk of getting caught and let me know what things I can do to stop the cops coming around uninvited. My setup is as follows: 2 x 2.2 x 1.2m Tent 4 Plants 600w globe Exhaust fan with carbon filter Setup will be in the back room of a normal looking house in a normal looking street. What else do I need for stealth? Is there anything I should watch out for? Anything you can suggest would be appreciated.

Hi, Ive been in flower right now for 2 weeks, im using Potash and bloom nutes. Been using dutchmaster Potash at 1.5ml Per litre and then about 2 ml per litre of the bloom nutes brings the EC to about 1.8 Just wondering if i should be doing the bloom nutes first at say 3 ml per litre then less of the potash? My bloom nutes recommends 4mls per litre. If i was to do 1.5per litre of the potash and 4 ml of the bloom id be at 2.2 to 2.4ec, so end of the day im not sure how to split the 2 things up. Im still not seeing hardly any sign of flowering after 2 weeks so im wondering if im under feeding with bloom and maybe too much potash?

G’day everyone, has anyone ever kept a male vegging to use for cloning, I am about to start down this path. Usually get stuck smoking the same strain for months on end, I have not been using mothers just cloning from clones. Cloning is faster I know, but with limited space the plants only have to be 600mm high and bushy to go into my flower room. This size can comfortably be achieved from seed within the approx 60 day flower cycle. So theoretically every time I put plants in the flower room I just have to plant new seed’s and they will get 60 day’s to grow which should be enough to sex them and reach a reasonable size. Hello , I was looking at my 125w CFL the other day and noticed there was some dust and shit built up in the CFL , so I just lightly dusted it and blew out some crap ......but it didnt seem like it got it as clean as I wanted it ....but because I didnt want to go hard (and maybe wreak it ) I just left it as clean as it was , set it up and used it ........... What I want to know is ............ How do you guys/girls clean your CFL's? Has anyone had a bad experience with cleaning a CFL? Has anyone had a bad experience with a dirty CFL? Hey everyone I haven't posted in a while but am looking at purchasing a new set up soon and just had a few questions. The system I'm buying will consist of the following: - 1.2 x 1.2 x 2.1m Mylar tent - 1.2m Cooltube - 250mm centrifugal fan with carbon filter - passive intake I plan on running 4-9 plants at any one time. Question 1: should i run 2 400w HPS in the cooltube both on analog jb ballasts, or should i run a digital 600w hps? I ask this question because i read somewhere that analog ballasts take 10-15% extra wattage, so between tthe 2 400w ballasts they could use an extra 100w or so making a total of about 900w.
