I could be a bit ignorant as i don,t know how cold it gets where you are but I don't think the heater is necessary.In veg its hard to go wrong.Dropping the light to get them at right temp is win win.Less stretch and more.I have veged under a sonte before.It did snow where i lived and definitely had no need for a heater.I do use a water heater in reservoir.Still the HPS is dropped down until the heat is good for plants.That was long time ago and now i use 2 large t5's.Your cuttings remind me of chem dog.I don't suppose you could name strain please

Since the last post I have done exactly that. Messed around with the light and the sensor position and temp is spot on now.
