Week 4 Day 23-28: The strawberry dream was eaten. I woke up to an empty pot again and this was my only SD seed so I guess I won't find out if it survived it's pink spots or how it tastes. I planted another lemon haze auto to compensate and I'll be guarding it with my life. The lemon haze seems to be doing fine albeit growing a bit slow initially. Week 3 Day 16-18: Auto plant is starting to grow faster than the strawberry dream, had an additional 2 leaves at this stage. Read that wind is good for making stems grow stronger so I placed them in a slightly windier area (up higher). An animal knocked over the strawberry blue, so I had to replant. Plant didn’t seem too affected but noticed some strange pink spots on it the day afterwards [see previous post]. I’m pretty sure these are unrelated though. However, I'm pretty concerned about thes
Day 14: Healthy plants except for the lost lemon haze. Thinking that the plants look small for 2 weeks in, are they on the right track? Thinking I will start will some really gentle feed and irregular seasol watering. Day 15. Gave them a good water with seasol + powerfeed- is it maybe the fish smell of the seasol that attracted birds? Another set of leaves and I'm excited for the next stage of their life cycle. DAY 8-9: Plants were looking fine, didn't need to do much yet. Woke up on day 9 and was horrified when one of the plants was missing. No leaves, no root, no evidence. My guess is a bird decided the other plants in the garden weren't exotic enough. I put chicken wire around the remaining plants and yelled some obscenities at the local birds.
