Ok, done my little shopping trip and got my lamp setup now. 400w HPS Sylvania globe with Powerplant ballast and White wing style shade. Seller was a nice bloke, everything was in v.good nick, good value for $41. I wonder if that Sylvania globe is actually made by Philips because both of these are made in Belgium. Funny thing just happened. The entry named Why am i here (i think...) has gone bye-byes into the ether.   I'm fucked if i know where it went, but it was just a vent about how my ex-dealer wasn't the brightest crayon in the pack. I got a wrong number off her so that's the reason why i'm here doing this, and I'm sick of her crap and lining her incompetent purse.   If it turns up somewhere good, if not, the world will still turn around.   Ok. Yep i bought something (give myself a high five). Just a cheapie 400w HPS + white wing shade and ballast. $41. Not too foul, if i get some use out of it before one bit or another dies then it'll be worth more than the many crappy 50's i've been done over with over the years.   And that is going to be a point of this blog.
