My fave movie ever was "The Machine" its a French thriller movie starring that big fella actor who was in that Yankie Movie called "The Green Card". It was a awesome thriller about An brain surgeon invented a "machine" that "swaps" people's soul's around and the guy wanted to explore the minds of the mentally insane to understand, and things went wrong the doctor's soul was trapped mentally insane body while the insane esacaped the mental hospital in the doctor's body, it was really surreal and trippy movie while I was extremely ripped.....

A lot of American movies are copied from the european orginals. The Yankies just changed around, used Hollywood stars to boost the profits, but while the european look and make movies as it was a "Art" .... I honestly believe european movies are way more interesting than Yankie Movies, they are just simply too way over-rated for me...... just my opinion of course

If you see the "The Machine" in your local video store's "foregin movies" section, I strongly advise you to hire it...and get ripped and watch it....

"How High" would definately rate highly for me. By far the funniest weed shmokin' movie I've seen so far. Make sure you get the dvd tho cos there's some piss funny shit in the deleted scenes.

Just watched "Donny Darko" last night, and thought it was great. Spent 1/2 the time lmao, the other half blown away.

It has alot of halucination scenes that are pretty amazing.

I was fairly stoned, actually completely toasted, so I recommend the same mind-set ;-).

Blakes 7 is a favorite (I've only got copies on Bmax) but also Faulty Towers, if you don't mind rolling around the floor laughing

Also, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Clerks, Class of Nukem High, Evil Dead 1 (the rest are shit).

Best recentish one is that 'American Psycho' that is a funny movie, I love it when he runs to his appartment but shoots the doorman, so he has to go to the other appartment, funny shit if your stoned.

Oh, and the funniest shit of all, Is when Conan The Barbarian punches that camel out, you gotta be stoned for it to be funny though, actually no-one else finds it funny, but I can't think about it without laughing.

Man Army Of Darkness is the main reson why the Evil Dead Serise even became popular . that movie kicks ass when your stoned .

Yeah seen that movie, he's a motherfucker (seriously I am not kidding, Buddy fucks his mum) crazy funny movie, made in Adeliade I think. About a mother who been brainwashing his son that outside worlds is all dirty, polluted and shit like that he was trapped inside for all his life and he went outside when he was late 20 or 30s for the first time...I cant remember, saw that about 6-7 years ago.

Hehe, me and some mates spent a night out around Port Adelaide after seeing that movie trying to trace some of Bubby's steps. I can tell you, Port Adelaide is a freaky place at 2am driving around in a dutched out car Especially when you all sware you can see the doorway were Bubby emerges into the outside world. Trust me, it all looks the same as the movie!!!

Yeah Spongebob Squarepants is cool!!!!, same with Neon Genesis Evangelion, that is some deep shit for a kids show.

I gotta say though no cartoons (excluding the simpsons) have ever been on the same level as Roger Ramjet, what ever happened to Roger? this generation is missing out on the greatest superhero ever, he's a little patriotic, but goddam he is funny, he cleared the road for spongebob and all that silly shit.

Anyhoo, I reckon all the kevin smith movies other than clerks are pretty shit, but I gotta relate to the guy.
But anyway Clerks is hilarious, next time you watch it you gotta really pay attention, there is lotsa real subtle humour, like when he's talking about the guy who cleans the nudey booths and the customer gets upset about him talking such filth, in the customers bag is window cleaner and cloths.

I happened to switch the TV on late the other night after coming home from my graduation....was probably after about 1am on Channel 10 and watched a movie called Homegrown. Nothing fantastic, but I thought I'd mention it as a dope movie....suprisingly, IMDB have it listed as Comedy/Thriller....hrmm...not sure about that!
