I saw Alchemist, Dungeon and Earth at my local RSL and, even though a small venue, it was probably my favourite concert ever. Maybe not Pantera's gig. But fucking awesome. Dungeon rip it up.

I like Opeth, In Flames, Sinergy, Iced Earth, Slayer, Sonata Arctica and many more. Frankenbok are a sweet Aussie band. Saw them play along with Soilwork and Skinlab. AHHHHH METAL! Most of my friends listen to gay ass hip hop and dance shit so its quite hard for me to live a metal life but I still fucken love listening to it. Anybody going to Strapping Young Lad's tour?

I like far too many black metal bands to name, but I like some Norwegian (Gorgoroth, early Dimmu Borgir, Burzum, Mayhem, Darkthrone), Some Sweedish (Bathory, Vinterland), some French (Mutillation, Alcest, Haine Noire), some American (Xasthur, Leviathan) and ALOT of Australian (Striborg, Gospel of the Horns, Destruktor, Pestilential Shadows, Nazxul).

Great thread here! I've grown up listening and playing Metal all my life. I've played in a few Metal band here in Australia over the years but haven't played guitar for the last couple of years now.

I listen to a wide variety of Metal, Thrash, Death and Black. Bands such as Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Exodus, early Slayer, early Sepultura, Obituary, Carcass, Mayhem, Emperor, Immortal, Impaled Nazarine etc.

I also DJ a Metal show every Sunday on an internet based station and play a fair amount of Aussie content such as: Hobbs Angel Of Death, Anatomy, Pegazus, Catwitch, Dungeon/Lord, Mortal Sin, Sakkuth, Vespers Descent, Malignant Monster and shitloads more. I love me Australian Metal and promote it as much as possible.

Jason PC from Blood Duster is a good friend of mine. Brutal Truth are definately out of control, they stayed with the Blood Duster guys quite a few years back while on tour. Talk about wasted..hahaha

Damn good album indeed. I was a bit disapointed with Rob Flynn when he started Machine Head though, "Burn My Eyes" was a great album, but they went downhill after that IMO.
