Almost 48 hours ago I downloaded a virus and two worms into my pc which left me a bleeding mess....resulting in me having to format my pc to reinstall windows files as I forgot what the administrator password was and because I had not been logging on as admin I had not been creating any automatic safety restore points.....la la la

After the format I find half of the contents of the HDD there still so it wasnt the clean install I wanted....feck knows why....

For some reason xp pro decided it wanted to take 4 hours to load in...a new record for me....more frustration

SO this all led up to today...and my pc keeping crashing out....becuase of this virus http://www.avp.ru/news.html?id=985675 and these guys managed to get rid of it for me and help me get back on my feet

So...my old virus scanner gets the boot...avg is its temporary replacement but it didnt do me much good in getting rid of the files, but ta least it notified me they were there....and now Im going to try Kaspersky.

And because the worm kept cutting my internet out...i have had to reconnect 30 times in since this morning to actually get my pc up and working....

I had the same problem couple of weeks ago, and it drove me hopping mad! :angry:

I fixed up by using the patches from this site, just scroll down to "DDoS worm spreading"

Yer i had that same prob Thanks GOD i didnt have to fprmate over 40 gig of shit that i dont have back ups of yet,
anyhow that was a bitch of a viruse , the same day i got that blaster one i got a worm so everyone gettin hit least ya survived an learnt now u will know what to do if there is a next time

Yeh thank feck its gone.....avg did a pretty poor job of getting rid of it and the other virus scanner didnt even pick it up and I updated it right before and after I got infected....

Oh well live and learn.....everything is ok now.......I hope
