i switched OSs in the quest for higher security possabilities the other day..i got a bit of ametuer shell experience but, only on remote hosts.Im trying to setup a vhost system, buty I got fuck about with it a bit.
Anyone with Linux expereince help a stoned brother out?

virtual hosts? you need a dns server and a static ip or your ip addresses.. you familiar with bind?

i got a static IP atm and I installed the DNS package into Linux..is that enough? WHats Bind?I dunno it

yeah..i dunno.. your current resolver can do it for ya..it's easy.. i'm not sure about ya own host server..you will need permission from your host as well.. i think.. for the rest of the net to lookup your names..better to just ask your current host to add the extra names.. such extraname.mydomainregistered.com..it's easy, they should do it..
