hey people....

I was wondering if anyone out there has any unusual joint rolling techniques?

As an example of what I mean...I was in amsterdam a few months ago and in a choice caffe I witnessed a young french lady rolling the most incredible joint....she used about a dozen papers all lined up in a strange kinda way until the final roll when just like magic everything fell into place.
The result was the biggest joint I have ever seen!
The best part was that she new that I was watching her every move and offered me first toke!
A day I will never forget!......unlike the way she rolled!

So if anyone has any tips on unique rolling methods and can provide details on how to do it I would like to hear them!

WhenI lived in the UK we used to roll a J with the paper back to front with the sticky bit on the outside so that there's only one roll of paper on the J rather than loads of rolls to take up all the paper.

I dunno if there's a name for it but it meant you smoked less paper which was good. It was one of those techniques pasted down from Messiah stoners that we worshiped as kids (mates big sister)

Yeah, couple of years ago when I was working up Innisfail on the banana plantations I worked with these two cool dutch backpacker guys and they taught me the one paper joint rolled with paper back to front, I never heard or seen it until these dutch guys introduced me this method... it was noticably better tasting joint, with less paper taste, especially for these over-resionous buds They tell me it's more common method in Europe.

The backrolling technique is called, amazingly enough, the backroll! It's very easy to do once you get the hang of it. i recommend the use of king size skins or rips, the thinner the paper the better. In fact, you can get skins so thin you can see your mix through them (Smoking Reds, OCBs...).
Anyway, to bakroll, you take your skin and fold it so that the sticky bit is on the outside and facing yourself. Pour your mix in, add your roach (On the right if right handed and vice versa). first thing I need is how the f do you get papers to stick, it seems almost every joint i roll comes undone grrrrr,
The only papers that work for me are Zig-Zags, tally-ho etc just wont stay together.

Certainly nothiong fancy about it, but this prompted the memory of an old photo I have from a bit of a party one day.

Where would you get papers big enough for the bloody thing tho? I've only seen kingsize papers before, nothing bigger, unless you've got some serious rolling papyrus.... (mel brooks movie reference, see if you can name the movie... )

Does anyone remember the Cheech & Chong vinyl album lp that came with a fukken massive skin (rolling paper). Cant remember the name of the album but it featured such classics as fifi the poodle & the quiz game?

i've seen people use dollar bills to roll a joint, and believe it or not it come out pretty perfect. but, that technique is'nt for me, i'm more comfortable trusting my hands to lead me to highness

I roll joint's now for over 10 years and they are getting bigger and better
i don't need that many papers i get myself Rollingpapers 7 metre's long
my longest what i ever smoked was over 1 metre we toked on that thing all night long did't roll that 1 wish i could best thing is to practice alot

Seven Farkin metres - is that the paper that comes in roll? Seen them before - you can cut the length to suit your needs. Like a mini cling wrap roll but with rolling paper inside.

The 1 metre+ was on a party some other guys rolled it they had enough dope to do it and wanne try to make a realy big one went like 2 packages of smoke's and a few ounches in they had a few kilo's there and sold it on the party very cheap and other drugs Never went to a drugs party in holland huh They are Awesome always trying something new

I used to smoke roll your own tobacco and i got used to rolling with filter tips. When rolling a roach i would roll up with the filter tip hanging out the end and pull it out and replace it with the tightly rolled roach, the roach loosens and takes up the slack The filter tip is firmer and easier to roll with, i always found it an easy way to roll, i hope it helps.

another one if you dont have filters handy is to roll the roach and rip the paper in half parallel with the gum, then lick it and sort of tape the roach shut so it cant uncoil itself.

I only ever smoke joints when i don't have a bong to hand but when i do i roll L-bases

take a skin hold it as you would normally to roll a cigarette, put another next to it in exactly the same way. Rotate the one on the right 90 degrees anti-clockwise and lick the bottom half of the sticky and stick it to the underside of the lefthand skin. Then fold the topright hand corner of the vertical skin down to the line of the sticky and tear off so it looks like a triangle stuck onto a kingskin. put your roach on the left, pour in your mix t and roll it. when its rolled, lick the horisontal licky and stick it, then the vertical and roll it all the way arround the joint.

You end up smoking a fair bit of paper but they're by far the quickest and easiest to roll.
