I am trying to upload a growdrobe drawing, it's about 580kb. I tried with photos and it was ok

I drew it with the program ultimate paint, could that be the problem?

Much thanks scratchchin.gif
WantDaChronic
try saving the image as a jpg and then uploading it wink.gif
Pure
try a file size smaller than 580kb aswell as your limit is under 200

you have a larger upload limit because your in the 420 crew however untill we move to the new server there are still limits for the 420crew its a 400 kb limit per post
bongonaussie
that sounds real good Pure.. 400 kb per post is fine by me, I just resize in ACDSee to around a 100 or so ..so i can get 3 or 4 pics per page..

Will the new server be like it is on CS where you can upload a shitload of pics per post..I find that real easy for posting pics..

cheers mate

you stil have the issues associated with a file of that size you have simply gotten around the system we have to limit you in place ,
thumbup.gif
We set the file size we do for the consideration of others aswell as our own server ,
a 500 kb file is going to take a good minute for anyone on dialup to open and your image has been posted tied to an account and ip at photbucket where they have no concern for privacy

if you click the link in my signature or nuggets there are tutprials on shrinking photo's that are very easy to do

i have taken shots with everything from 1mp to 8 mp and I have never had an issue getting a file to under 250 kb , infact normally when I'm done the files are under 100kb peace.gif
